The race of accelerated recognition
There are thousands of medical practitioners that become a part of medical tourism worldwide every year. From weight loss, dentistry, cosmetic surgery and many others. The vast majority of these medical professionals strive to gain the recognition required to make their medical career a successful one. Some succeed, others do not.
Unfortunately, due the every-growing level of competition amongst medical professionals, along with limited access to capital for promotional purposes, some medical practitioners that are in the process of “jump starting” their career, choose the path of least resistance, often cutting corners, sacrificing their credibility and patient safety. Some desperate surgeons resort to exaggerating and inflating their expertise, certifications, academic and medical achievements.
